Theme 22 was picked by Patricia Thomasson ( anticipatricia ): Mix Tapes!
Each member will make a playlist and cover art for their very own mix. There always seems to be connections between what we listen to and what we make, and this is a great time to explore that!

❤ Get ready to soak up new music y’all! ❤

This week I moved to another sublet in Chicago so today I started documenting the new place in my sketchbook! Some of these, (like the one above) were a little more experimental but it was fun to get to know the place a little better - more to follow!

My brother writes poems during his off times and this year I’ve started to take some of those poems and hand letter them, paired with spot illustrations here and there!

The idea is to work up to a small publication of some kind so for the moment I’m going to keep the words blocked out but for this one I just had to keep my mom’s quote readable:

"I brought you into this world, I can take you out!"

He has a wicked sense of humor so keep an eye peeled for the finished series!
