I made a second tumblr! I’ll be posting my research + reference material, the occasional playlist, reblogging friends’ work and whatever else strikes my fancy so if you’re interested, its BradyStreet!

This morning I snuck in a portfolio review with the art director of the New York Times!! (silently dying over the opportunity) I’m graduating next month and the feedback from today alone has given me some much-needed new goals for my work and provided incredible validation for the instincts I’d been unsure about. Running off the fumes of that, I just decided I’m going to make another tumblr for inspo/research/promo of friends’ work! (Not today) (Probably* this week though)
Good luck to the rest of the seniors/grad students here being reviewed today!!

Last stiletto of the night for Rob - edits to follow, but in the meantime …

2 of 2 - Technical sketches for Rob - brush pen & digital color

1 of 2 - Technical sketches for Rob - brush pen
Technical works on progress - slightly less exciting - brush pen & digital color

Work in progress for my brother - just posing some of the simpler drawings tonight, post-critique redesigns and supplementary drawings to follow — (brush pen and highlighter photographed for texture)
This month I’m working on neglected side projects! The first of which are some illustrated heels for my brother and his business partner who hope to generate a collection within the year - happy belated birthday Rob!! Following that, I’ll be looking up some tall tales, sprucing up some recent projects and packing up my apartment in Savannah!

What I’m working on this May! Beginning stages of this project to follow -

Haven’t been posting nearly enough work this quarter - I’ve been caught up with The Girls Room show prep and fallout with classes/quickdraw so extraneous work is just* picking up again! This and next month I’ll be posting some of my other side projects as well as some revised versions of work from earlier this year.
In the meantime if you miss me I’ll be on Behance! (slightly obsessed)
I drew the drive between home-home in St. Louis, Missouri and school-home in Savannah, Georgia! I’ve done this 13 hour drive 22 times over the last four years, usually solo in one solid run and I’ve really come to enjoy it!

theme ten!
Serious exhibitions capped competitive jurying processes, and other shows celebrated the serious number of people in this city who make interesting combinations of matter, color and form.
The Girls Room (at Gallery Le Snoot) got a writeup!! I’m so proud of what we put together!!
